My Life felt out of control. My emotions had a mind of their own. I knew that things weren’t as bad as they felt. I was making progress. Things are getting better. There will always be bumps in the road, but as long as you keep moving forward, you’re not failing. Still, it felt like I was…
I knew the best thing for me to do was to drive. Drive. The long ride would ease some of my fears. Yet, the destination had to be a place of rest. I had to find peace there. The Beach. The entire atmosphere screams calm, even amid the crashing waves, birds fluttering, people walking to and fro. It was still calm.
Even more incredible, even more fascinating… is that the waves could be calm, as well. Quiet. Peaceful. Without losing its Strength. Covering the shore without swallowing it whole with nothing left over. I wanted to capture this moment where the ocean and the shore met. It is here that I found a Quiet Mind. -ecj
